Free trial period

Every new user gets the opportunity for a 7 calendar days free trial period. A separate license key will be issued for this purpose.

Licensing model

Concerning the license model a distinction is made between students and professional users:​​​

​- For students the base fee is 25 EUR per year per computer.

- For professionals the base fee is 1000 EUR per computer, unlimited in time.​

- For multiple professional licenses within one company a dedicated proposal will be made.

​The base fee applies for ThermoExcel, ThermoCOM or ThermoLib. A second product can be added for 10% (e.g. ThermoLib on top of ThermoExcel would cost 1100 EUR for a professional). The same applies for third product, so all three packages would cost 120% of the base fee.

Some important notes:

- Students have to provide a copy of their student registration for the subject year.​

- Per computer means that the license is valid for a particular computer. Replacement of the computer requires a new license.

Licensing mechanism

The license will be granted for a specific computer. During installation computer specific properties are determined and send to ThermoTech to generate a license software key. This key will be sent to you. After installing the key on your computer, the product will work for the specified time. The license key is also required for the trial period.

Data protection

As part of the licensing mechanism and to enable to support you, the data collected during the licensing process will be stored. If you disagree, you can unsubscribe.

License agreement

For the use of the software, general conditions are applicable. Acceptance of these conditions are required during the installation process. The conditions can be found via the link below.
